Description

This homemade pot roast seasoning blend is perfect for enhancing the flavor of your pot roast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1½ Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp Kosher salt
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 whole bay leaves

Instructions

  1. Measure all ingredients (2 Tbsp light brown sugar, 2 Tbsp garlic powder, 1½ Tbsp onion powder, 1 Tbsp Kosher salt, 2 tsp dried oregano, 2 tsp dried thyme, 2 tsp ground black pepper, and 1 tsp paprika) into a small bowl and stir to combine.
  2. Use a spice grinder for a super fine consistency on the whole dried herbs (except for the bay leaves) if desired.
  3. 2 whole bay leaves can be added when cooking the pot roast, and then discarded after cooking.
  4. Use on your pot roast or store in an airtight storage container with a tight-fitting lid.
  5. Store your pot roast seasoning in a cool, dry place like your spice cabinet or pantry.
