Description
This homemade pot roast seasoning blend is perfect for enhancing the flavor of your pot roast.
Ingredients

- 2 Tbsp light brown sugar (packed)
- 2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1½ Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 whole bay leaves
Instructions
- Measure all ingredients (2 Tbsp light brown sugar, 2 Tbsp garlic powder, 1½ Tbsp onion powder, 1 Tbsp Kosher salt, 2 tsp dried oregano, 2 tsp dried thyme, 2 tsp ground black pepper, and 1 tsp paprika) into a small bowl and stir to combine.
- Use a spice grinder for a super fine consistency on the whole dried herbs (except for the bay leaves) if desired.
- 2 whole bay leaves can be added when cooking the pot roast, and then discarded after cooking.
- Use on your pot roast or store in an airtight storage container with a tight-fitting lid.
- Store your pot roast seasoning in a cool, dry place like your spice cabinet or pantry.

- This seasoning blend works wonderfully with pot roast dishes.
- For an extra kick, consider adding additional herbs or spices as per your preference.
