Air Fryer Sockeye Salmon

Description

Delicious air-fried sockeye salmon that is seasoned to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz sockeye salmon (cut into 6-oz portions, de-scaled and rinsed under cool water)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • lemon (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly pat the rinsed sockeye salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Brush each side of the salmon with the olive oil. Season evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Be sure to keep them in a single layer with plenty of room between them for the air to circulate.
  4. Cook at 390°F for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Once the time is up, open the air fryer basket and use a fork to check the doneness. If the salmon flakes apart easily at its thickest portion, it’s ready.
  6. Serve immediately with a slice or two of lemon, if desired.
