Description
A deliciously creamy and rich peanut butter pie perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 9-inch graham cracker crust
- 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
- 1/4 cup crushed peanuts (optional for topping)
- Chocolate shavings or caramel drizzle (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and softened cream cheese until smooth and well blended. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the mixture, beating until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Transfer the peanut butter filling into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Smooth the top and sprinkle crushed peanuts over the pie if using.
- Place the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow it to set fully.
- Before serving, add chocolate shavings or a drizzle of caramel over the top for added flavor and presentation. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened to achieve a smooth filling.
- For a twist, consider adding a layer of melted chocolate at the bottom of the crust before adding the filling.
- If you prefer a crunchier texture, incorporate chopped nuts into the filling.
- Use a hot knife for cleaner slices when serving the pie.
