Description
A delicious and hearty recipe for cube steak cooked in a crock pot with gravy, served over egg noodles.
Ingredients

- 1 lbs Cube steak
- 1 package onion soup mix (1 ounce)
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10 ounces each)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 12 oz egg noodles
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
Instructions
- Place 1 pounds of beef, 2 packages of onion soup mix, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, and 1 cup of beef broth in a 6 quart crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
- 1 hour before serving, combine 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1/2 cup of water together in a small bowl.
- Stir the cornstarch mixture into the crock pot and cook on high for 1 hour to help thicken your gravy.
- While the sauce is thickening, cook the egg noodles based on the package instructions.
- Serve the steak and gravy over 12 ounces of egg noodles and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to stir the gravy well to avoid lumps from the cornstarch.
- This meal pairs well with a side of vegetables or salad.
