Ingredients
- 24 pieces vanilla wafer cookies
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or shortening
- green sprinkles
- red heart-shaped sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Sheet:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the White Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and vegetable oil or shortening. Microwave on medium power for 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
- Dip the Wafer Cookies:
Hold each vanilla wafer cookie by one end and dip it halfway into the melted white chocolate. Gently shake off excess chocolate.
- Decorate with Sprinkles:
Immediately sprinkle green sprinkles over the wet chocolate coating. Add a red heart-shaped sprinkle to each dipped cookie.
- Set the Cookies:
Place the decorated wafer cookies on the prepared baking sheet. Let the cookies sit at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is set, about 15-20 minutes.
