- 1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins or cranberries, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, nuts, and dried fruits gently.
- Use a cookie scoop to drop dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Cool on baking sheets for several minutes before transferring to wire racks.
