Description

Delicious cookies filled with chocolate, caramel, and pretzels.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup soft caramel candies, chopped
  • 3/4 cup mini pretzels (plus more for topping)
  • Flaky sea salt, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips, chopped caramels, and crushed pretzels.
  5. Scoop dough balls onto a baking sheet. Press a mini pretzel on top and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until set but soft in the center.

Notes

  • For a saltier flavor, add more flaky sea salt on top before baking.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
