- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup honey
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sea salt, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate. Leave it in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the honey and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
- Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl, then add them to the honey mixture. Mix until fully combined.
- Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Gently fold in the flour until it’s just combined. Do not overmix.
- Remove the pie crust from the refrigerator and pour the filling into the crust.
- Place the pie in the oven and bake for 50 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
- Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes.
- Before serving, sprinkle sea salt on top for that glorious salty finish.

- This pie is best served slightly warm or at room temperature.
