Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sea salt, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate. Leave it in the refrigerator while you prepare the filling.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the honey and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl, then add them to the honey mixture. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  6. Gently fold in the flour until it’s just combined. Do not overmix.
  7. Remove the pie crust from the refrigerator and pour the filling into the crust.
  8. Place the pie in the oven and bake for 50 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
  9. Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for about 15-20 minutes.
  10. Before serving, sprinkle sea salt on top for that glorious salty finish.
