- 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple, sugar, chili powder, and salt. Mix well and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Spread the pineapple mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 2 to 3 hours, until the pineapple has dried out but still has a chewy texture.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Allow to cool completely before serving.
